Vibrating Particles System (VPS) is developed based on some principles of physics in which the free vibration a system with single degree freedom including viscous damping concerned. In this algorithm, each possible solution or vibrating particle seeks its equilibrium position search space. Despite relatively good exploration ability VPS it poor at exploitation and convergence speed algorithm also an issue cases. paper, hybridized Migration-Based Local Search (MBLS) mechanism Biogeography-Based Optimization (BBO) strong local capability to concentrate process around promising particles locate optimum more precisely. Three hybrid algorithms are how use MBLS methods as parallel, series mixed series–parallel schemes. order evaluate proposed dealing difficult structural optimization problems, 24-story benchmark frame problem, 10-story steel structure 1026 members alongside 20-story 3860 optimized using presented algorithms. The findings affirm robustness efficiency over standard existing relevant approaches for design building structures.
